Violin classical & traditional

• I have a classical violin diploma; my listening skills are mainly in the traditional violin.
• I teach both traditional and classical violin.

Students I work with

From 6 years old and up, beginners and advanced students in traditional or classical violin. The teaching method that I apply mainly in the traditional violin is both by reading the score and technique of the instrument but also by a practical method that is usually done in the traditional violin.

A few words about Spyros

He was born in Athens in 1986.

His first contact with the violin was at the age of 12, where he began learning the traditional violin with the great virtuoso of the traditional violin Nikos Economides. Later he took classical violin lessons with Eleni Oflidis at the “Anagennisi” Music School, where he received a diploma in classical violin after a few years.

Since the age of 18, he has been professionally involved with the violin, playing at numerous events in entertainment centers, theaters, concerts, etc. He appears live with various groups of the traditional repertoire and has collaborated with very notable artists of the traditional and art music scene.

Since 2014, he has been teaching classical and traditional violin in conservatories, music schools and online.

Teaches in both English and Greek.
