I decided to take up the harmonica because quite simply every time I hear a tune featuring the harmonica I always say what an amazing and special sound it has. I bought an economically priced one which had good reviews and I decided to start classes online because here where I live there was no other option. In the first lesson, Stelios showed me the basics, such as the right way to hold it, how to blow properly and various such things and then we arranged the next lesson. In the meantime I saw that I never let it out of my hands, whenever I got some free time I practiced what (little!) I knew over and over again. In the next lesson Stelios saw my eagerness and showed me a few more things and in the next one a few more... After 3 months of taking lessons, my motivation for the next lesson continues unabated and I think this is my teacher's great achievement, the fact that he always manages to find a way to keep my interest going! Stelios is an excellent teacher and he gives you the step-by-step coaching for you to keep on progressing. Although he deals with the theory, which is a fundamental thing in all the lessons, he does it in a fun way and through examples using my favorite tunes. Increasingly every lesson we move on to something new and I think by the summer I will be able to play the instrument really well. I recommend him to anyone who wants to take up harmonica!

This tiny instrument is not so easy after all... I bought one several years ago because I thought it would be super easy to learn on my own and handy to always have it on me. I read a lot of articles and saw a bunch of videos about learning it, hours on end, but I just couldn't get it...
